Onkyo is very good... In fact, that is what I had before I replaced it with my Yamaha Receiver, and the Yamaha is far far better then the Onkyo. Using the same speakers, I have clearer and far crisper sound out of them in comparison.

Polk Audios all the way around. :) They were $1300 when I bought them about 7 years ago.

Yes, same as me polk audio has the best speakers imo
My dad still has some he bought for 1600 back in 98. I plan on getting new ones as soon as I can get a job.
