The Backstory: i don't own a ps3 but i bought LBP anyways (horray for my neighboor being a great guy!).  so now i'm looking into getting a ps3 once i find a good deal to play LBP and a few other titles (horray for R&C, valkyria chronicles).

so wtf is digital copy?  from what i'm reading in the FAQ it seems the digital copy is a separate (dvd) disc.  they say it has drm but doesn't give more details. (how many devices can i download this to?)  is this going to be a standard with blu ray discs or is this an emerging separate format (like just buy the digital copy without brd)?

perspective would be greatly appreciated cause i'm confused.

it looks it like license to tranfer it to your PC.

A digital copy is a smaller copy of the film for your ipod, iphone or similar device.. so it's not exactly suitable for your PC... It takes away the hassle of ripping and converting it yourself..

...the instructions clearly state: "insert disc 2 into your pc's dvd-rom drive"

upon further research - looks like digital copy is being bundled with the dvd release as well as the blu ray release.
