StarFox... not that I'd want it to get bitten its just been so long since the last one and as far as we know they aren't working on anything new.
I am going to have to say Pokemon. I can't believe it's still so popular. I bought Pearl and didn't know any of the Pokemon. I was very sad. I want to see F-Zero live on as well as Mario Party. They still have promising futures in my mind.

I think Mario re-earns his throne with just about every game he makes. He hasn't milked himself into Mega Man or Sonic territory and is showing no signs of doing so. Even Mario's spin-offs are some of the best games around, especially when compared to other spin-offs. Mario's soccer game is better than Mega Man's, and Mario's fighters and kart racers are better than Sonic's.
I agree about Wario, that guy cheapens the Mario brand alot in my eyes

I don't recall that Sonic suffered from too much milking ... he just sort of went sour.
