Forums - Sony - Storm of PS3 commercials hit UK

After months and months of no PS3 ads (in the UK) I finally witnessed some, infact I saw 3 in a couple of minutes. There was a Motorstorm one, a LBP one and a Mirrors edge one, and they all were on a very popular channel.

It seems like PS3 is shifting up a few Gears for Christmas. What's it like in the US, or anywhere else in EU?

Any Thoughts.

I'm also in the UK and the WWE Smackdown ads with only the PS3 version advertised are the only PS3-related ads I've seen. Perhaps I should watch more TV.

I havent seen any. Bout frigging time though

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

I see lots of motorstorm 2 ads

I've noticed LBP commercials for the first time today on TV in Belgium (i've seen it around 3 times), but i've seen advertising for it (in newspapers etc.) earlier this week. Nothing else though.

I just saw the smackdown advert showing all the Sony console versions so FINALLY sony are advertising again. Nintendo though are just brilliant when it comes to commercials, they go on guns blazing by picking top celebrities and are reaping the rewards thanks to this.

I don't think I've seen a PS3 commercial for about 4 months. Wii and 360 ads are daily.

It's truly a wonder the PS3 isn't getting absolutely hammered in Europe.

alot of Lbp commercial. BUT INSANE MANY xbox commercials.

What channel?

Nintendo adverts are just the best of the best, celebrities playing a game = Sales
360 just slap on the 360 logo at the end of every multi-plat game = Sales
Sony make ridiculous adverts which show the actual game for 3 seconds = Retardation.

Then again the latest 360 adverts where they show a fugly person close up, rotates to the back of the head for a bigger scenery which is also retardation. Ooh just as I write this I see a Nintendo advert showing Girls Aloud playing Mario Kart.

Nintendo, you geniuses.
