Forums - Sony - wii bowling for PSN?

The best thing on this site is i know at 8pm all the wii fans are off to bed and the Sony fans can talk with out the children.

I'm sorry, but I have trouble hearing maturity lectures from people who can't spell and have horrible grammar.  Grow up.

WhiteoutKing, ignore flame bait.

ssj12, you are correct that obstacles are at least a way it's different.  That does look interesting.  I think the biggest complaint about this is simply that the sixaxis is way too awkward to hold like a bowling ball.

well it was clearly flamebait but I can answer your first question. Wii Sports offers only 1 way to bowl when theres many rule variations that are available like trick (shown in HVB video with the chair in the lane) 16 pin, 8 pin, and several more.

Bowling is like billards, theres many ways to play.

Actually Wii Sports has three training modes for each sport which for Bowling include Power, Splits, and Curve.

In power each frame adds another set of pins. 10, 16, 23, untill you get to 91 Pins in a single throw.

Curve control puts dividers in between pins requiring you to apply different spins and curves to procced.

And Splits naturally many split variations you have to nail.

Also, not sure which bowling alley you attend, but mine would frown upon trying to place more pins at the end of alley or setting up chairs on it. Really not the same as pool table where everything is on a table and you can set it up how you like.

I love how people are bashing the system based on a downloadable PSN game that is probably gonna be a 5 dollar game.

This is what downloadable games are for, small affairs that are cheap and focused on one thing specifically.

I probably wouldn't get it, but I can see some people buying it to mess around with it.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Fair enough, I figured I'd at least make the attempt to bring some maturity up against the post.  But seeing as PS3owner's posts have only gone downhill there really isn't much point.

PS3: 5.51m/51w, avg 108,039/w (up 239)

Not really you hold the middle part of the controller and it feels natural try it your self with a ps2 controller if you have one.

@WiteoutKing, all you do is troll sony threads, so don't try to take the high ground.

@PS3owner, wow, you respond to his logical counterpoint by calling him a troll. Maybe he just saw the topic on the main page like I did.

also to say that it is as/more comfortable or natural to hold the sixaxis than the wii remote for a bowling game is ludacris...

Looks like a cook game...I don't have a PS3 but if I do, I will buy it.

P.S. I am waiting for the price of PS3 to come down to $200.

So I can play a motion detection bowling game that I have to pay for, on a system that cost twice as much, with a motion controller that isn't as accurate... yay!

(I own both, this could be nice if someone only had money for the PS3, except most people who have a PS3 can afford both because of income or, like me, use student loans.)

How exactly is the detection worse on the sixaxis?  Let's see how it controls first.

Another bad game, another 100 replies bashing Sony (and some of their fanboys). Seriously dumping on Sony is a regular sport for you guys. Even good games get dumped on cause it's not innovative enough... At least the hate is proportional I guess.

Regular sport indeed...

Heaven forbid someone else do a bowling game to show it's not unique to the Wii.

There have been bowling games before, guys... At least this one will probably be cheap.
