Braid barely has any actual storyline.

Oh, wait...

This confirms it: DTG can't understand a story if it isn't spoon-fed to him through cutscenes.

A storyline is something told through dialogue and in case of visual media, dialogue and scenes in tandem. Braid has very little dialogue (or monologues in this case) to present any sort of narrative.

By this definition the first two Metroid Prime games have no storyline whatsoever.

Metal Gear Solid 4 of course. The only game with a story that can hold its own against the best Frank Miller or Alan Moore graphic novels. It is kind of obvious that they exclude the game with the best story because it is on the PS3.

My most anticipated games:  Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort.  Cave Story Wiiware.

You cannot be serious.

Yes, I'm serious. Metal Gear Solid 4 is the videogame equivalent of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns which is the greatest graphic novel ever written and according to the greatest American novelist of the twentieth century Stephen King, "The Finest piece of comic art ever written."

Sorry if your Wii and 360 bias won't allow you to accept that fact.

Don't bring consoles into this, if I could afford a PS3 I would own one tomorrow.

Have you read the Dark Knight Returns? or, better yet, Ronin? How about V for Vendetta? Or Watchmen, God help you? In order for MGS4 to come within the same plane of existence as Watchmen, it would have to be several times better than any previous Metal Gear Solid game in terms of narrative, and to be frank I just don't imagine that to be true.

Don't listen to him.  He's just one of those people who prefer having opinions the exact opposite of the majority.
