Yeah, Blame Gamespot for the Sony's mistakes haha.

Sorry guys it's time to admit the PS3 is last in the food chain this gen. There's always next time.

next time? this console war is just heating up in case you haven't noticed, BTW you can declare this war over once GT5 and FF launch in japan on PS3 'nuff said.

Meh, Japan isnt the only country in the world, FF will sell better on the PS3 than Xbox in Japan, But i bet Xbox will beat the PS3 in FF sales elsewhere.

There is just no way in hell the PS3 will ever pass the Xbox, much less the Wii this Gen. Sorry dude.

Sorry Van Damnurdum, you and I both know that at the very least PS3 will be a viable console for 3-5 years after the 360 is dead. And FYI PS3 has outsold 360 by a million units this year.

Funny how the recent On the Spot webisodes are all about LBP. They are really trying to sell that game to people.

And the lower resolution shots of games is down to the fault of the PS3 section manager. They obviously delegate work, its not all one big mastermind churning out screenshots.

And funny how Eurogamer gave LBP 9, Res 2 a 9 and Gears 2 a 9. So biased. You guys seriously need to get over this MGS4 score and stop citing biasedness.

No matter what, they won`t stop PS3 DOMINATION,
as much as they try.
Tides are changing, PS3 exclusives starting getting higher scores, while not all x360 exclusives get biased high scores.

Every 5 seconds on earth one child dies from hunger...

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Just so you all know, I did not go looking for a biased site, I discovered it mistakenly.

So I've been checking out the screens for the upcoming big hitters on PS3. Particularly Resitance 2 and Killzone. During my endeveurs I discovered something unusual.... To me it seemed that 2 of the biggest games for the PS3 were...... graphically unpleasing. I thought to myself "surely this can't be, I've seen so many praise these graphics... Are they blind?". These shots I was looking at on Gamespot seemed to be extremely blurry. So I decided to check out some PS3 games I owned and knew how they looked (Warhawk & Uncharted in particular) and I was amazed to see that Warhawk, and game that looks good but is no where near amazing appeared to be better than Resistance 2 and Killzone 2!

So I began to look into it... The file sizes for Warhawk & Uncharted screens generally ranged from 300KB to 450KB while the Killzone and Resitance shots ranged from 200KB to 300KB. I was amazed, the shots for KZ2 and R2 often had 2, or 3 times more going on and the file sizes are drastically lower! Is Gamespot intentionally compressing and distorting PS3 screens to make them look worse?

I figured I needed a second source before I could call foul play, so I referred to IGN. And sure enough, not only were their screenshots of Resistance 2 much sharper and clearer but the file sizes were in that clear and crisp 300-450KB range nearly 33% larger file sizes than Gamespots.

I still wasn't ready to call out Gamespot... I thought to myself, perhaps they've just been compressing their screens too much lately, could be an honest mistake right? So I looked at some Gears of War 2 screens, and sure enough they were in that magical 300-400KB range right on par with IGN. (I found the same thing with LBP screens, IGN screens were clearer, and had larger file sizes)

So, is Gamespot making PS3 screens look worse to turn away potential customers?

I know I will not be going to gamespot for screenshots anymore.

You fail!

Gamespot is biased! It's also part of CNET.com and guess what - so is Metacritic!!!

So we now know that both Gamespot and Metacritic have a secret agenda against the PS3.

Thankfully gamerankings.com isn't part of CNET... oh wait... ..oh NOES!! gamerankings.com is also part of CNET.. WTF??

The CNET network is 360 biased? This is very troubling... lets dig deeper and see who owns CNET.com - CBS!

Of course it all makes sense!! We all know that CBS and Microsoft have worked together in the past, including their new announced pact to deliver interactive programming.. and guess what device they'll use?? That's right the 360!

So CBS tells its reviewing sites to show favoritism to 360 games to increase sales, so that CBS and Microsoft deliver interactive programs to your TV!

Now why would CBS party up with "evil" Microsoft and not Sony?

I know, you're probably thinking that MS Money hatted its way into CBS's pants!! but I think its a little trickier then that... I think its CBS who approached Microsoft

I think its all about the movie business.. CBS Paramount Pictures can't compete against Sony Pictures, so they're attacking Sony's gaming division to cripple the company into releasing crappier movies..

So to sum it all up!!

CBS is sabotaging PS3 reviews so that it can sell more movie tickets! Yep you heard it here first, don't be surprised if you see me on CNN!

Mystery solved, don't visit any websites. PS3 fanboys stick to your "non biased" PS3 magazine websites and ignore everything else.

Thanks for reading!

i didn't chek any of the info you just posted but i think you are 100% right because my gust are telling me so

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

I didn't say there weren't any shots that were out of those size ranges, I said generally speaking that was the average range of the screens. And if you'll compare screens between IGN and Gamespot you will see that the PS3 screens on Gamespot are usually more blurry than IGN.

All I said was I found that Gamespots shots are of lower quality than IGN's, and most everyone agreed before the thread was thrown off by all the 360 fans.

If you actually look for your self you'd find out that its true.

If gamespot is biased why is Halo 3 screen shot only 163,and what does File compression have to do with quality, you said that Gamespot was lowering quality of PS3 screens while 360 remained normal,i showed you thats not true,Maybe Gamespot makes all games screenshot blury, not just PS3 as you said.
