Nothing really to add, but I just ordered my copy Gears 2 LE (US version). It'll take a few days to get here though since it's shipping from overseas, I can't wait to try it out!
Anyway, it really should have been released in JP. I only saw one small game store near where I live that usually carries import games with a sign saying they were getting Gears 2 in(Asian ver.), otherwise nothing. I had hoped to see more stores selling it.
