As a left-wing liberal Yank, I am embarrassed by the Yanks who don't know what liberalism is. But at least some of them are open to discussion and learning about it, while the others (halogamer cough cough) are going to whine and cry and insult the majority of the country for 4 years.

damkira's right. The most liberal senator at any given moment is the Democratic one running for president. Running for president is actually the most liberal thing you can do.

What are most of you guys trying to say? That a word must mean a certain thing if most people affix that certain meaning to it? Words don't really have inherent meaning, you know. I know what every word I say means because I know what I mean with every word. If I say "cup" to mean muffin, then I darn well know that "the meaning" of cup is muffin...
