This is like U.S. football versus World's football.
What are most of you guys trying to say? That a word must mean a certain thing if most people affix that certain meaning to it? Words don't really have inherent meaning, you know. I know what every word I say means because I know what I mean with every word. If I say "cup" to mean muffin, then I darn well know that "the meaning" of cup is muffin...
If that is, of course, what you're all talking about, of course :/
