I was wanting to know how many 360s can possibly be connected at the same time and what the possibilities are.

COD IV? # of players local =4?, System link maximum =?

Halo 3 # of players local = 4, System link maximum = 16

Gears of War 2 # of players local = 2?, System link maximum = 10 (range from 2-10)

Im thinking about getting another 360, but to make it worthwhile there have to be enough games which support this feature.

You do realize that you need a second TV and a second copy of each game, right?

I have a 23" monitor and im getting a 65" to replace my 53" next year.

 

And yes I do know about having extra monitors and game disks etc. Halo 3 is getting old, we need something new.

Okay, just making sure you know what you are getting into :P Also, when you say system link, do you mean that you want to hook them up over LAN instead of over the internet? Because if you just hook them up over the internet, I don't see why you should have any limits on it, except if you have a set amount of IP's or whatever limitations you might have.

tell your friends no to be cheap bastards and buy a 360 and bring it to your house... and spend the money on your wife, girlfriend or whatever you would like to, i love to play with my friends but having to pay double for it i just think its too much

Its pretty spontanious, I mean we come home sometimes from a sports game and rock out to some Halo 3 a lot of the time, and my flatmate wants one anyway but if I can get local multiplayer i'll go halves.

well if you got the money go for it =) there is nothing like playing locally with your friends mm now about the topic mm i dont know any other game but gears 2 will be awesome to play 4 player locally
