So, is Wii Sports part of those numbers or not?

It's funny. I'm willing to bet all of the PS3/360's bundled games - MGS4, Motorstorm, and whatever comes with the 360, were included. Why not take those out to be fair? If they're included, then you've gotta throw Wii Sports in, which would put the Wii way over the PS3.

As for Wii Play "not counting," BS. Is it because it only costs $10? Wii Fit costs $90, so... it balances out!

What exactly is forcing people to pay $10 extra for Wii Play? I didn't buy it. Is it just so damn good you "cannot not buy" it?

Also, there were forced bundles for the HD consoles as well. People on this site have mentioned they got Motorstorm / Resistance / MGS4 not by choice, but because it was bundled. Sounds like a "cannot not buy" situation to me.

for Wiiplay and sport, it's a permanent situations, and only bundled games. For the others you mentionned, there were naked sku's.

The cannot not buy it for wiiplay is that if you want a extra wiimote, you got wiiplay with it, that's all. Imagine that every DS3 would be bundled with haze, this would force people to buy a crappy game.

Once again, you are not forced to buy Wii Play. Do you honestly think all Wii remotes are bundled with Wii Play? The game would sell more than the console. As you can see, this isn't the case.

Also, I've already mentioned I didn't buy it. The game costs $50 with a remote, as opposed to a remote costing $40 alone. I personally would prefer spending that extra $10 on Wii Points for something that interests me more.

I'd remove WiiPlay, but not WiiSports. Most people who buy the Wii want the game, many want the Wii FOR the game, and if it wasn't bundled, it'd likely be a cheap sell.

Besides, does this take out the sales contributions of 360 and PS3 bundles?

Tremble: That's utter bullshit and you know it. People have a choice whether to buy a Wii Remote on its own or Wii Play for an extra $10, its called marketing, every game that has a TV ad should be pulled out too right?

And hey, take out wii fit coz that has the balance board, and take out Wii Sprts Resort next year coz that'll have Wii MotionPlus, and take out AC coz that can be bought bundled with Wii Speak, Link's crossbow training etc.. Hey GUNCON! take out time crisis 4!

As I said, it's called marketing, who cares the reason why ppl bought something? the marketing and tactic worked didnt they? Smart play by the publishers, that's what it is.

Aye, if you take out Wii Sports or Wii Play, you'd have to take out all the bundles from the PS360 camp, too. For that matter, wouldn't Wii Fit be taken out as well? Wouldn't SOCOM PS3 be taken out because it comes with a headset (sans online version)?
