I am new to VGChartz (excellent website, by the way) and I am wondering if there is any way to look at the sales of a game across all platforms.  For example, I would like to see Madden 08's sales in total for all consoles, not just the 360, and would like to be able to compare it with the total sales of NCAA Football 08 across all systems.  Is this possible?  Or do I have to import the data into Excel and create my own statistics and charts?

Thanks for the quick reply!  I found this already, but it still forced me to break the games up by console (if I type in Madden 08, I have to choose for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, etc.).  I am trying to figure out if there is a way I could combine all of those at the same time, so that I can compare it with the combined data of another game.  Otherwise, three comparing spaces is only enough for me to compare the Maddens across each individual system, not to compare to other games.

No..=/. Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to do what I am talking about.  Basically, what I would want would be for all three of those lines to be one total line that I could then compare to a total line of another game.  Essentially, I would like Line 1 to be "Madden NFL 08 - PS3, Xbox 360, Wii" and Line 2 to be "NCAA Football 08 - PS3, Xbox 360, Wii."  But there doesn't seem to be a way to do this, so I will just make my own data chart and graph combining all of the data.

However sales are not always complete, for instance it is rare there is any PC data at all, and or Madden in particular there isn't any Europe data (assuming it's released in Europe?)

We can bug Talonman if you like to get him to add a "total" figure at the bottom of the table in link I gave.

If you want compiled games data though I think it would be a job for ioi.

Perhaps someone could make a suggestion to have a kind of tool to compile data for multiple games (say 10 at once) so you could pick and choose games and there would be various ways of viewing the data for those games.... that way you could pick out all the versions of Madden for it.

Ah, I see what you want now... I don't know if that's possible. :/
