When I am not logged in, the forums show maybe 40 posts in a topic, and the number of pages beneath the topic title reflect that, when I log in, the same number of pages are displayed beneath the topic title.

Yet when I click say, the link corresponding to page 3, I got sent to the page 9 of the topic instead. As a result, there is some inconsistency between the number of pages displayed on the topic title and the actual number of pages in the thread itself.

I know it's hard to explain, but can anyone help me fix this problem?

If you go to "Edit Profile" you can choose how many posts each topic shows per page.

I dont know about the page thing though, I haven't come across that.

OK, set that number to 50, it's now consistent. However, when I set it to 25, there are twice the number of pages when I view the topic compared to what I see when I look at the topic list.

I think there may be a glitch somewhere, since the forum interface assumed that I set it to 50 all the time when I look at the list.
