Yesterday i turned on my xbox, Poped in my fav game (Final Fantasy 11), and it freezes..... No big deal. I keep everything clean i have a nice Entertainment center Glass, 40 inch Sony 1080p XPR2, Wii, 60 gig ps3, ps2, Elite Xbox 360, Psp and Nintendo Ds and about 60 games between all systems. So ive seen freak accidents happen more times then i care to remeber. (yes ps3 ive seen you freak out also).

So i turn it off and turn it back on again. RROD....... I am no noob. ive had 4 different RROD systems in the 3 years 360 has come out...  I am clearly pissed because i know what this is.... This is still a problem. Microsoft did NOT fix this and this is how they treat their customers. I have NEVER im my life had a product that was so widespread defective and i had to purchase more then 2 times.

I love my Xbox. We all know that i am a Sony fan but i own all systems and play them all the time. I have lost all respect for microsft and when the next xbox drops i will NOT jump in. This will be the first time in 10 years I have NOT purchased a system the first day.

Why am i writing this? Because that 5th xbox was fairly new and after about a few months of using an ELITE xbox 360 it crapped out. So short.... the RROD is still out there.

1 thing i will say..... i ran out sold that system. As much as i hate M$ for treating their customers like this i have to get my xbox back!. So now i have a Xbox arcade with a 120 gig hardrive.

Wow. You officially beat that guy who owns 3 Playstation 3's and that cake! My 360 RRoD'd last November, and the disc drive died on Sunday.....before coming back to life. I hate my 360 but I love it so much that I would buy another in a heartbeat if it died for good. Damn Microsoft and their awesome, crappy, amazing, defective console!!  It rocks!!!

I'm just going to do it because people did it to me when I said I knew someone who's xbox broke..

Sorry to hear that. Never had an RROD. I did have a disk drive go out on me though...and I sold my first xbox since it was arcade and I wanted a pro. So I had 3 xboxes...and all 3 were different motherboards.

The latest one I got (Jasper) is much much cooler than the first one I had. Falcon was ok as well but my disk drive went after a year and 3-4 months.

Luckily people on ebay buy such things and I sold it for 150 bucks...

So I think that while its still possible to get RROD, the chances of getting it with Jasper and Falcon are greatly reduced.

That dude doesn't have 3 ps3's anymore. But there is another dude with 7!!

im on my 2nd 360.... if it conks out on me after I've played l4d and gears 2 ill prob sell it for a wii and rebuy it somewhere down the line

... i just bought an elite and i hope that my luck holds out. i've owned at least one console for each generation dating back to the 2600.

if/when the jasper boards come out and someone gets RROD, will they replace it with the new MB or will they just give you what you sent?

thanks for the concern people. i thought because i was pissed that people would just dismiss this as a fanboy ant (which it might be) but i feel good that us sony and M$ fans can at least talk about something without a fight lol
