1. Sec. of Defense - Colin Powell/Hagel/Webb or keep Gates - OR Wesley Clark

2. Sec. of State - Bill Richardson

3. Attorney General - Larry Summers - hat tip to Steven787

4. Sec. of Energy - Rendell from Pa.

5. Treasury - I can't think of the cat's name, but he was in the Clinton's administration

6. Chief of Staff - Rahm Emmanuel

I really hope Obama would have the sense not to appoint Colon Powell as SecofState the man KNOWINGLY lied to the U.N. for the purpose of drumming up support for an illegal and immoral war.

Surely Barack has higher standards than that.

Wesley Clark would be great.

State - Bill Richardson, Gov. of NM, Former US Ambassador to the UN.

Defense - Robert Gates (for 12 months), Current Defense, no confirmation needed to keep him.

Attorney General - Hilary Clinton

Energy - Jim Webb - Sen. VA, Military Veteran, Author, southern state with a Dem Gov who can appoint a Dem replacement.

Treasury - Some Economist or Finance person, non-partisan.

I think Energy is obvious: in fact, the nation's leading expert on energy just became an international celebrity and laughingstock.
