RESISTANCE 2 IS BEYOND AMAZING, the best FPS experience ive yet witnessed on the PS3, and thats me owning COD4, R1, HALF LIFE 2, and more.

The amount of things on screen are simply beyond amazing, not to mention the A.I is the best I have seen, makes MSG4's A.I seem like a ps2 game.

The visuals at first were ok, but as you progressed especially after the 1st level its just amazing, the detail in chimera are breathtaking, you have such a thrill killing them. The game is PURE FUN, its just so awsome.

 

If you have played the beta do not say " Oh the beta was a dissapointment he knows not of what he is talking about", if you have R1 dont say "Oh R1 was boring and dull, R2 is the sequal should be similar"

Becuase you my friend will be very wrong, the thing is.

if you have a PS3, DO NOT HESITATE, BUY RESISTANCE 2 YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT, YOU WILL LOVE YOURSELF FOR BUYING SUCH AN AMAZING GAME, best 60 buks ive wasted in a long time.

Better then R1 ... OK

Best FPS on the PS3 since CoD4 ... OK
But better then HL2 and COD4?

Dude, nobody pay you for advertisement. Just push it more lightly.

In some ways it is.

If he's just doing an apples to apples comparison (PS3 version of Orange Box vs. PS3 R2), it's less buggy, runs smoother and looks better.

And the Source engine, although improved by Episode 2, is still somewhat dated. The updated version running in L4D should really exemplify this, unfortunately, it won't be running on the PS3 for comparison.

I liked the first game alot and have high hopes for R2. I have been working long hours this week and will probably pick it up this weekend.

Ah I forget that PS3 version of TOB is not that good as PC and 360 one. Anyway. Compare games for their time.
Half Life 2 is a 2004 game. There was nothing even close to it in 2004. 35 Game of the Year awards and 96% on metacritics. Something that R2 will never make. Aside from that R2 is a great game. Cheers PS3 owners and enjoy it. Meanwhile I'm going to finish Dead Space. Great Game! Don't miss it!

I have the BETA.....its great

but after LBP came I havn't touch the RESistance 2 BETA or fallout 3

so yeah it might be a great shooter....but certainly not THE game to buy this holiday.....as imo it just isn't

as far as scale goes r2 does a great job... no other game can compete in that area on the ps3

I don't even know how people can be excited about Killzone 2 when this game is likely going to be heads and shoulders better than KZ2. This is def on my list of games to pick up once I can get a PS3.
