Forums - Sony - PS2 Playback Compatibiltiy Problem

I own a 80 gig ps3 with ps2 playback/emulation so I decided to try it out. I began to play Jak and daxter: the precursor legacy and it froze on me 3 times in the tutorial level. Everytime it froze I had to restart my ps3... I firt blamed the disk but then i decided I should try it on my PS2 and well it worked perfectly...

Thay will happen with BC. Most people dont know this but some games have issues with the 60 gig PS3, and obviously the 80 gig will have a few more.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Go to SONY's list of BC compatible games -- it'll tell you if their is any known issues with the games you have.

So far the game i have had issues with is Ape Escape(PS1)... because the game requires a Dual Shock controller... and SixAxiS / Dual Shock 3 controllers don't count ...
