Forums - Gaming - So now I have to at last play Final Fantasy Vii..

I have yet to finish FF8. I may do it one day.
I beat FF7 finally about 18 months ago and I must say it was a long road. But i didn't mind playing it in all it's dated glory. It is a part of history.

You know you have an unhealthy obsession with FFVI, right? Anyway FFVII is as great game as FFVI (for me even a bit better), but stop bringing FFVI in this thread

Before I say you fail as a gamer, I just want ask where did you stop at?  What did you think was the ending?

-edit-

And I ask because there's one answer that can restore my faith in you and another that will confirm my worries that I should lose all faith in you.

Someone has faith in me?
Cant remember much,I was kid back then.
I remember going on some train (that they use at mine) then busting trough to world map.I thought it was near end.

you were no where near the end.  You weren't even at the halfway point or even 1/3 way through if you just got done with the phantom train.  At least that's not the answer that makes me lose my faith in you.

I don't know if he means the Phantom Train or the Magitek Factory (where you use mine carts, if I'm not mistaken). Still, he didn't reach the world or Ruin, so it means he didn't reach half-point of the game

Whoops, missed the mine part somehow (well probably because I'm drinking for the first time in 2 weeks, hooray for being off antibiotics).  So I guess he was maybe 5-ish hours from the halfway point.  Which is understandable since the halfway point seems like it's going to be the ending.

Fine Geez...

Hmhh I think thats not it...I had airship and there was only Locke (was it Locke) and someone else..And i remember some old ophera mansion...Urgh its so damn long I cant remember...I was like 9 or something..

Yeah, you weren't near the end of the game even without Terra, the airship, and the opera house.  The halfway point really does make you think you were nearing the end of the game.
