Metacritic does not prove anything, I like the PS3 exclusives library better than the 360 exclusives. It may just prove that especially the US media hypes 360 more than PS3 exclusives, nothing more and nothing less.

Amongst the best sold PS3 games more PS3 games sold better than the multi-platform games, the bulk of 360 bestsellers are also on the PS3 and more of them also on the PC.

IMO if you want best graphics, an option would be to wait for the PC version of multi-platform games and buy a PS3 for its exclusives, games which will never be on the PC nor 360.
