You said, NG2 was held by the DVD size, you've been reasoned against. Waiting for a reply yet.

Still have tried the demo myself although it does not seem to be my cup of tea. I really wish they would have kept it the way it was back in the N64 days. I loved this game back then.
Still, not bad scores.

The game's unbelievably pretty, but there's something not quite OK with it... from the demo, at least.

The shadows are too pronounced, or don't forget they're still using their engine that gives ''shiny'' colors to everything.
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Perhaps it was a marketing ploy
I personally enjoyed the demo and am glad they changed directions.

7/10 = Good Score
5/10 = Average Score
3/10 = Bad Score
"Seven not as much heaven. A seven in Eurogamer speak is something we greatly recommend you have a good look at before you buy, because you can bet many highly regarded games over the years have been awarded a seven. If you're a fan of the genre in question then there's a very good chance you'll get a lot out of it, and often you'll hear a game's vocal following doing their best to boost its chances. Conversely, many detractors will seek to kick it down even further. A seven suggests you're into the idea of the game you should still try and check it out - you might like it more than you think, or be able to forgive its less than brilliant visuals. Or maybe it looks good, but the camera issues were just unforgiving, or maybe the AI wasn't up to much.
Over the years, in gaming parlance, seven has become almost the real 'average' score, but this is nonsense that we wish was flushed out of the scoring system with many publications terrified of giving certain games - particularly those of a great significance backed by big ad campaigns - less than this mark. Often giving less than seven is deemed to be the point of no return, with this considered to be the psychological barrier at which point people decide to buy at or not. But we're resistant to the idea and believe seven equates to being a very good score, and one that should be given more credit. In Eurogamer's eyes, it's still a great game, but one that is likely to sport a few areas where the game is blatantly let down - to the detriment of its overall quality and enjoyment."
See what I did there?
EuroGamer is a really good site catering for us older experienced gamers who aren't prone to hype.

My typing is off today. I meant I have NOT played the demo yet.
Just wanted to clear that up.
@Bitmap Frogs
Agreed it does look beautiful and I will give it a rent to check it out, but since I first heard about it I wasn't crazy about the whole driving thing. I just wanted old school Banjo platforming.

No platforming sucks, I dunno why they had to change the main concept of the series. As it is, I'd consider this game a spin-off. Such a shame, cause BK 360 sure looks great...
"You said, NG2 was held by the DVD size, you've been reasoned against. Waiting for a reply yet."
One of the reasons Itagaki was unhappy with the 360 was the size of data that its disks could hold. He blamed it for not allowing him to put all that he wanted into Dead or Alive 4. I believe he would also say it was one of the things that held back NG II, and it is one of the reasons he left Techno. Those were two early complaints he raised against the 360 in its earliest days. He wanted to make larger more cinematic games and the DVD 9 was going to hold him back.
