I don't think that's true. In fact, I think it's an argumentative generalization.

Fable 2 and Gears 2 certainly met expectations. I'm sure most of the multiplats will or have met them. I think Ninja Gaiden 2, Lost Odyssey, and Tales of Vesperia met expectations and pleased a lot of fans. Too Human was a flop, but that's about the biggest "failure" I've seen.

If you mean sales, well 360 sure sells a ton of software.

The PS3 has nine 9+ ranked games, ever.

Currently, a grand total of 2 of them are exclusive. 3 if Resistance goes up.

Both of them happened to release this year.

The Xbox 360 currently has 2 exclusive 90+ games this year. Fable 2 just moved up to a 90.

Ninja Gaiden 2 didn't meet expectations. It only had a Metacritic score of 81. The first ones on the original XBOX were over 90%, the PS3 remake of the originals on the still scored 7 points higher than Ninja Gaiden 2. For Ninja Gaiden 2 to meet expectations, it would have had to have scored over a 90 and had a higher metacritic score than Sigma and it did neither. Lost Odyssey was called a Final Fantasy Killer on several forums. Did it come anywhere near getting Final Fantasy review scores? No. It failed to meet expectations. Same with Tales of Vesperia. People predicting that it would be the greatest Tales game ever. It fell a few points short of that goal and still no Tales game has ever gotten above an 8.5 at IGN. Resistance 2 is meeting expectations better than any of those 360 games that we mentioned. It still has a higher score than the first game in its series.

Gears 2 was supposed to be the greatest game of all time, yet its Game Ranking's score is lower than those of both Little Big Planet and Bioshock PS3. Since Banjo is a Rare game, I felt it had a chance of giving the 360 some footing in Others if it came in with Little Big Planet size review scores but early reviews indicate that it is not going to be able to do that.

Anyone that calls ninja gaiden sigma(a visually polished port of xbox NG Black) a better game than ninja gaiden 2 has never played either.

One can sit there and look at reviews or play games. Seems like you do the first way more...

I was gonna make a funny about Eurogamer swinging status between "fanboy crapsite" and "respectable reviewer" wether they say bad things about the ps3 or bad things about the 360.
