OK. But I really cant find anything better though, do you know of any? And I think the fact that they update their release dates regularly is a plus. Most others Ive seen dont.

I'd love to tell you here, but there are weeks that I can't get to all the games myself.
I only made my original comment about gamefaqs, cause someone said they take them from there and then just update here. However, if it is for a new game in the next few months, odds are I already set the date with a combination of information. For new games, I typically take a combination of IGN, ebgames, amazon, and gamefaqs. gamefaqs typically gets checked last if no one agrees. News sources obviously get highest priority, but only if they are recent.
gamefaqs is perfectly fine to use, especially for already released games, but for updating this site, I prefer a mix.

That's a damn good question! I usually don't check for release dates of a new game, but I always know when a game I want comes out. Strange. Next time I'll pay attention to where I get my info from. I think a fairy whispers the release date in my ear when I'm sleeping or something.

I think you meant me, because I said I updated based in Gamespot, and both sites share the same database. I haven't found a single error in GFAQs/GS, but I haven't checked that much. Still, I don't update much unreleased games, I tend to update more the recently released ones (for example, every time the JP charts are in I upload the boxarts, release dates and game info of all the games that were released that wekk, which they usually lack data), and GF/GS has never failed me. But when in doubt I still compare it with amazon.co.jp, so there's no risk of mistake
