Maybe it was all a dream but didn't the last couple weeks show the PS3 outselling the 360 in "Others"??

Well apparently these numbers have been adjusted, showing the 360 outselling the PS3 by a total 130,000 units in the past 5 weeks!

Even with the launch of "It will be HUGE" LPB, the PS3 just simply wasn't able to beat the much cheaper 360! Does that spell trouble for Sony in Europe? Will Sony have to go cut prices to be competitive this holiday? Or will they just stick it out and let the 360 win this holiday. (Who's kidding who, I should be saying the Wii will win this holiday)

Yeah I just noticed that too, it clearly had a pretty big impact.
Sony really needs to cut the price on the PS3 for this Christams although it probably won't happen.

BTW LBP numbers won't be in until next week it's only coming out on the 5th or around there.

good software sales, i think there will be another boost from Gear of War 2 bundles in others region

Looks like LBP sold far lower than people expected - I did not think much of this game anyway , sony actually need to make some good PS3 games for the PS3 it really has no games of the FPS type which really show it's strengths compared with the X360 version of the same game or would be any different if they were on the 360 in the case of exclusives.

If resistance fall of man or Grand tourismo prologue etc went to the X360 they would sell really well and there is absolutly nothing about them which can't be done with the X360 or the Wii.
The Wii on the other hand has some true exclusive games like metroid prime which simply can't be done on the X360 - at least not without mouse support.

Sony deserve to loose sales. Untill they can show off that playing a game on the PS3 is better than the X360 or Wii version of that Game they deserve to loose more and more customers to the other platforms - especially with the far higher Price they charge - i am supprised they are only just being beaten by the 360 when really they should be getting thrashed by at least 2:1.
I really hope sony can do something with their games catalogue soon cause my PS3 does nothing other than heating up the lounge and playing dvds/blu-ray.
