It's not just like an ARCADE game is not comparable to a real AAA game... lets see I don't think Geometry wars can be put in the same boat as MGS4.

I bet if wipeout and some other psn titles were AAA status, you would have included them on the ps3 list, and since you ain't got any yet you complain...shame

Why wouldn't they count?  Can you actually give a good reason besides they just don't?

Just because they're cheaper and a smaller scale doesn't make them any worse or less significant.  Braid was one of the best games this year and Bomberman Live is amazing.  And what was that other little game?  Mega something 9?

Oscars have to do with movies.  Commercials are not movies so why would we expect them to get an oscar?

Game reviews have to do with games and we're defining AAA as a game with 90+ review.  XBL, PSN, and WW games get reviewed on that same scale so we expect them to count too.

Stop trying to protect the PS3, you're not getting paid to protect it. Just accept that arcade games are real games. It's like saying that DS and PSP games are not real games.

Why?  Are you suggesting a game is good because it has an hour and a half cinematic?  Are saying Tetris, one of the greatest video games of all time, isn't in the same league as MGS4 because it isn't flashy?

Actually, rather than pointless arguing lets try this.

  1. Geometry Wars Galaxies is a Wii and DS game.
  2. Since it's a Wii and DS game it can be placed into AAA status if it has 90+ reviews.
  3. Geometry Wars 2 is an XBL arcade game.
  4. Since Geometry Wars 2 is an arcade game, it cannot be considered for AAA status.
  5. Geometry Wars 2 is an improvement and extension of Geometry Wars Galaxies.
  6. Since Geometry Wars 2 is an improvement up Geometry Wars Galaxies it is better.
  7. Geometry Wars 2 is better than Geometry Wars Galaxies
  8. Geometry Wars 2 is better than a potential AAA status game?

 in metacritic they put the arcade games with the games in the same list thats mean the arcade games is considered as a normal game.
