Obama has carried Virginia and it looks like he'll be taking North Carolina and Florida with it.

This is very uplifting and it shows that the south is no longer the haven for racism and narrow-mindedness that it has been for so very long. Virginia is my home state and I never thought I would see the day.

Wow, what a graceful concession from John McCain, a truly honourable man. While I very much disliked the campaign he had ran and many of the issues he had supported, it very much reminded me of great the guy actually is.

OT: I'm with Dogs Rule, it is very strange having a government here in Canada that is more conservative than the one in America.
