Forums - Gaming - Did you ever regret selling or giving away a game?

With regards to selling my games...never again...

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

There was a few games i regreted selling/giving away

Street Fighter II (GB) i have no idea why i did

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (DS) once again no idea why

.........there are more but these are my top 2 games under the catagory,WHY THE HELL DID I DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to stop regretting the departure of SFII GB.  That is one of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune of playing.  I traded it in for essentially nothing just to be rid of it.

well i enjoy all street fighter games, and it was nice to have a portable SFII game to take with you anywhere you went

I must respectfully disagree.  The broken, four-button gameplay; the sluggish, choppy graphics; the incomplete roster; need I go on?  The game is an insult to the series and should be effectively stricken from the record.

i will accept your opinion, you make a good point, but no matter how bad the graphics are in a game i am all about gameplay and i thought it had good enough gameplay for a portable game back in the 90's

Currently Playing: Mass Effect (360)

If the graphics are so poor that they actually detract from the gameplay (which is already broken as-is), that becomes a definite problem.  It's true that there weren't many options for portable fighters on the good ol' GB, but seriously... SFII GB is a disgrace.

I realize I didn't answer the original question (whoops).  I used to regret that I sold my first copies of Final Fantasy II and Secret of Mana for SNES.  These days, I don't mind so much...

Hmm, I don't know. I'd have to say I regretted selling MP to a friend one time who really wanted the game. Then again I sold it for $20 and got a used version at GS for about $4. ^_^

This will only take a moment of your time. *steals your watch*

The only game I've ever sold is GTAIV and nope, I don't regret it. I just didn't have time for the game as there are other games I'd rather play.

My parents sold my piano for the NES without my knowledge.

I traded my Toe Jam & Earl (Genesis) for Taz Mania. I still regret that to this day.
