That's nice that M$ is trying or adding things that I enjoy about the PS3 (disable auto run, game install "decreasing load times") So like the question I asked above does the spinning of the dvd drive cause any heat in the 360 Console? If it does, will it eliminate some of the heating that causes RROD?

Im fairly open to the idea but it will have to be implemented extremely well to last longer than a few weeks as peoples preferred game launch platform.

If Sony pull it off however it could be a real console seller.

However the chances of them pulling it off flawlessly seem remote.

Any type of motion causes heat. The DVD drive isn't directly associated with the RROD problem though. Installs will just cut down on noise, prolong the life of the DVD drive and improve load times and data streaming.

 Home improves on nothing and is not even remotely useful. The J man isnt trying to put down sony or anything but this is honestly their worst idea in their worst era (selling wise). NXE actually has some usefulness such as full game installs. Please name the J man one thing that is useful and not a gimmick in home and he will shut up about it. So in terms of usefulness NXE> home. Honestly the  only reason ps3 fans were excited about it is because there were honestly no games to talk about then and now there is so why still support it?

as much as i dislike home, im going to have to disagree with some of your points.  it improves on their out of game socialization.  it can be used for setting up parties.  its a good place to stick all the ads they want.  id even suggest that the Ps3 is a worse idea than home.  or telling people to get a second job... or that its in 4d...or that they would rather kill themselves that have a 360 game on their system.  so there are plenty of things worse than home.
