that's a bit stupid isn't it? why did they make the text small in the first place? how hard could it be to notch the font size up a few points?

as people have already said, theres plenty other games that have this problem, even when my bro plays LO, the text when they talk about his dreams are small and hard to read. Rare made a mistake yes...but lets not act like they the only ones that have done this....many more victims out there.....
Wow, that is just horrible. So if I wanted to purchase this game I won't be able to read any of the text.
These are the kinds of issues that should be addressed when the game is in production. Makes me glad there are plenty of awesome games coming to the PS2, Wii and DS.

the text may have been small in LO but at least i was able to read it. i was unable to do that in Banjo.

This is something I've noticed with a lot of 360 games. Even downloadable games like Braid are squintfests if you try to read anything on an SDTV. It's a serious design flaw which really shouldn't be a problem at all.

The problem is not only with SDTV's its with Hd ones aswell. Many people complain all the time they can't read the text on their 40" or higher HDTV's.
As Mr. Bubbles has said, screw you Rare. This problem happened to dead rising, and now it has happened to banjo. At least dead rising had voice acting for the important parts, and if you really strained your eyes, you could make out some of the text and fill in the blanks. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy other game(s).

Wow. Is it worse than Dead Rising text? I played the demo on my bro's HDTV, and it was fine (32"), but I did play DR on an SDTV and it suckkkkkkkkked.
Why do companies do this? It's so stupid. Let SD people play games too. >_> It wouldn't cost them much if they made it SD Compatible to start with.
Rare can't fix this? A company owned by Microsoft can't get Microsoft to foot the bill on this? That's just outrageously bad.
