Forums - Gaming - I`ve seen LBP in action... Sony is ripping you off

Why am I not surprised?

You're allowed to have tastes (even bad tastes) but the "3h long" part shows that you totally missed the point of this game. So... FAIL.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

Everyone said LBP will be huge and will sell systems... It`s a 3 hour long game that looks like Mario only a little more inventive. How can you pay 400$ to play this game when there is little to no replay value and it`s short?

I just don`t understand.

If you`re interested in the game, here you go -> http://www.gameanyone.com/game/PS3/1392.html

It`s in the gaming category because it`s an insult to gaming (my opinion and only my opinion) and seeing how Banjo 3 ,a great and long game is supposed to not even compete with this rag doll is a true insult to gaming (shal i repeat the "my opinion" thing?).

emmm r u feeling good? maybe u just came back to earth. How was ur trip to the sun? No worries the doctor will be with you in few moments

Yes please,i could use some medical attention. Perhapes then i will see that i don`t have the right to an opinion. Right?

I'd prefer to buy a game that the developers have finished and doesn't require me to spend hours designing my own levels just so I feel I've got my money's worth

LBP contains already thousands of levels, why the hell would you create your own level if you don't want to?? Play others !

I love these "Reviews" made by people with such completely unbiased opinions.

Saying that LBP doesn't have replay value is not having an opinion, it's talking about something you have no idea about.

To me, and I've not played it or to be honest read much about it, it looks like a bog standard puzzle platformer.
It's main boast seems to be downloadable user created content and the ability to completely create your own level (providing you have some kind of artistic ability and about 50 hours to spare!)
I'd prefer to buy a game that the developers have finished and doesn't require me to spend hours designing my own levels just so I feel I've got my money's worth.
Little Big Planet looks nice though.

What?!?!? u really think LBP is a incomplete game? WTF?

U missed the point of the game too

FAIL!

You don`t like - don`t play.
There is NO game, which ALL people would like.

I think you will lose just about everyone right there.

Then I guess we can write off just about any side scrolling Mario game? They are just as long, if not shorter, have much less to collect and contain no multiplayer and/or editing tools that LBP contains.

Give the game a shot, it is nothing like what you described. It has it's own storyline with around 20-30 levels, tons of mini-games and various mini-levels with almost 1000 (possibly more) stickers/costumes/objects to collect. This is before going into any sort of online.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Who's paying $400? I'm paying £40 at most. Me thinks you've been ripped off mate.

Hmm, pie.
