hi. i am new to this site after been reading it regularly. I am brazilian so I am always behind in terms of gaming because in my country everything is very expensive, but i am hoping to buy a Playstation 3 (mostly for GTA 4, MGS 4 and LittleBigPlanet) sometime this year. I keep up with everything through several gaming sites, but i see people complaining how this demos is only 5min. long and i would like to know whats the average length of a demo?
Installed and played through it. It is very short, about 5 minutes. However it does give you large combo lists for each stance so I think I will probably play thru it a couple more times to get used to each one.
Apart from the length it is very impressive. The level of detail is incredibly high and the character animations are superb. The first time you perform a superstyle attack or a counter you will be amazed.
The controls are a bit tricky to get used to if you have just played thru NGS like me as HS is much more about attack than defense, but it is no way a button basher. The 3 stance system works wuite well once you know what you are doing.

NGS was about 10-15min,
Gundam was about 10-20min
motorstorm was a race basicly 5-10min
and heavenly sword feels more like 10min.
the demos are free.
Resistance was 10min the first level of the game.
