Forums - Gaming - Early E3 09 thoughts....whats to come?

Alright then. What do you guys think each of the big three are going to announce, demonstrate, and all that yatta.

Nintendo - Feeling the hurt from these guys last year, I' m not sure they learned from there e3 mistakes so I'm worried its going to be more fluff.  Only thing I would like to hear is a localization of monster hunter tri which im getting japanese or english, anyway.

Sony - That remote thingy? Pull apart? Interesting to have some good graphic motions games but i just don't care for the idea. This could mainly be under multiplatform, but the rumor mill has been going around that squenix is gonna release a new MMO. Wither it be FFXI 2 or another IP i want more details on this. It's going under the codename rapture. I know you can't use wikipedia as a "legit" source but this is pretty much what we know in a nutshell.

Microsoft - Ever since they aquire rareware I have been hoping for Jet Force Gemini 2. If that game gets announced it will be enouph for me to buy another 360....unless of course it's coming to PC as well. also I havn't been keeping up with waggle so i don't know if thats debunked or confirmed. One last thing would be a Home like type application.

EDIT: Another thing for nintendo is maybe a DSi north america release?? Probably not. I havn't been keeping up with that either.

Hmmm E3 09, GT5, God of war, more heavy rain, something FF not like i care though, PS3 price drop, It will be a good year for Sony and the PS3.

Well in my opinion i say who gives a flying fork (see what i did there?) because if its anything like this years E3 i have no interest in this so called "Gathering of the Games" pfft.

I think Nintendo was stunned by the overwhelmingly negative response to its E3 this year. They did days of damage control afterward and next year, I'm really hoping, we'll see some decent games (read: new Zelda!!)

I have to agree. This year sucked for everyone IMO. Nothing really stood out other then FFXIII multiplat. Which although is big news.....its not really spetacular news. However just cause one year is a rundown doesn't mean they will all be. I still say make e3 public again :(

I agree with your entire post dude, but im a negative guy when it comes to games now an days so forgive me.

But yeah lets "Wish" for a great E3 in 09, because if it doesnt make up for 08 for all companys MS,Sony,Nintendo hell even the game devs like Square Enix, EA, Epic Games, Level 5, Atlus, Etc...

Because if 09 fails to deliver the goods then i have no clue, the epic feeling from E3 will fade into nothingness, as for tokyo gameshow 09...well that just "Might" become the new E3, although even 08's TGS was pretty bad to say the least..

It's like you guys are living under a rock. They announced over a week ago that e3 is dropping the closed press thing and is going to a press event/open event format.

Yes Tokyo might be the new e3. Infact i would go as far to say it already is. It's still open, and just that thrill of going to something like that with tons announcements is still more exciting then sitting back watching live feed. Better to be there and experiencing everything. Right now they're split even announcment wise, but letting tons of gamers drool over the new games and game babes....priceless.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
