I was watching X-Play TGS Special and I remember when they interviewed one of the guys she called it a JRPG.
When he answered the question he started off with "Its not a JRPG its an RPG For the World"

I say complete BS. I dont care what you say its a JRPG. Sure their trying to do something a bit different but its still a JRPG,

No, I don't think it's left the realm of the JRPG, but it does offer a pretty interesting twist in the RPG genre.

It is a JRPG but they added some elements to appeal more to the Western market wthout alienating the Japanese gamers.

Since it's made by SE then automatically it's a JRPG.... in order to be a world RPG Santa would have to develop it..... and am convinced that fat bastard doesn't exist...
