Well the current price's are mainstream purchases considering the Xbox 360 Arcade $200 and the Pro is competing against a Wii that is $250 and then Elite which is $400 is competing against the $400 PS3. So Microsoft is in good standards right now. I agree, there is absolutely no need for a price cut, unless sales began to decrease.

If the PS3 starts out selling the 360 then i don't think it will be on the market for five years, not that anyone at MS would admit that.

i think if sony doesnt lower the price, then they wont, but when microsoft fells presure they always drop the price

@everstar, you forget they have a 1 year lead over them also, not much at all for a whole 1 year and all of your heaviest hitters have made their debuts.
