It's well known and a good solution to when you need a controller. For you PS3/PC gamers, the Sixaxis can also be used on the PC. Search the web.

It's not an official driver from Sony, it's a user made one. Don't know how many user made ones there are though.

I haven't really tried it for PC games, but it's nice if you don't want to use your keyboard on something like an emulator.
