PS3 has 2nd place on lockdown IMO.

The bundle in Europe already started in many countries. At least Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and UK I believe (at least amazon UK has an even better offer). Yeah, some big countries missing yet.

I don't see the bundle doing that well. It won't spur many sales, it just won't turn off as many people when they hear the price.
Personally, I think the best case scenario for Sony is a really close, brutal fight with Microsoft that they win by a 5-10 million units. Actually that's not quite true...if Blu-ray really takes off, PS3 could come out way ahead of 360, but otherwise, I don't see it winning.
Another $100 price cut this year? I don't think Sony can afford it. But if it did happen, then yes, PS3 could turn around a bit more. Then again, don't expect Microsoft to be so wishy-washy on its own price if Sony really starts dominating.
In UK there are already advertisements being shown of the bundle & there are posters on buses e.t.c.
By the way do we expect the 360 to outsell the WII worldwide when HALO releases??
