Forums - Sony - SONY cuts of supply to CIRCUIT CITY!!

This sucks because Best Buy is worse than Circuit City and this will only allow best buy to abuse their position even more.

You better get used to Bestbuy (or something else) soon because alot of people are excepting Circuit City to file for bankruptcy soon.. like 2009.

this along with circuit city closing more stores to avoid filing for chapter 11, is begining to sound like the death march for circuit city. i think u might see bestbuy consider buying circuit city sometime next year if things get any worse for circuit city, it would mean one less competitor for them.

Exactly, ever since we got a Fry's near us, I hardly ever go to BB/CC.

Anyways, I used to like Circuit City a lot.  They had a great store that was about 2 minutes away.  Then they moved to the other side of the highway, and built a store that pretty much copied Best Buy's layout.  They also pretty much packed the store with CD's/movies and got rid of a lot of other products they used to carry.

But yeah, I don't expect Circuit City to last much longer.  Their stock is at around 26 cents, and I think the NYSE is about to delist them.  They've been going downhill for years now.
