Okay, everybody knows the wrestling games will never be a popular as they use to be. However, Smackdown vs raw 2009, look to be one of the best wrestling games since no mercy. This game reminds me a little bit of wwf no mercy(expect this games has full entrances and no replays of the match).This entrances have more than improved, the gameplay is way better than last year and Randy Orton's RKO looks incredible. Overall this game might turnout to be a great game to by for the holiday season. Even though WWE and their video games will never be where they were 7 years ago. This game is great gift for the holiday season.

I bought '07 and barely played it. I skipped '08 (my first time missing a WWE/WWF game). Hopefully 2009 can lure me back. I'll download the demo today! PS3, right?

I'll wait for reviews before buying. and the back crowd looks horrible the same as the PS2 verison, but everything else is bloody detailed, especially Triple H's pecs @_@

5 might actually buy a Smackdown game this time around. It has been years since I've bought a wrestling game (2005, Day of Reckoning 2). I used to buy them every year one came out, but they were never the Smackdown games.

Are the controls the same as last years game? I love wrestling games but 08 was unplayable.

IDK wat u liked bout the demo it really didn't show to much of the full game i didn't like the camara when ur outside the ring hopefully u can change that and u couldn't change the difficulty settings 2 see how good the AI can be

the last good werstling game 4 me was svr 06 if 09 has a difficult AI like 06's then i think the game will be good i don't like buying games just 4 online gameplay

I played the demo, and its just like 08 and 07. Roster update IMO. COntrols were better in SVR06 and HCTP on PS2 In my demo Randy wasn't even playable. I agree with the outside ring camera sucking.

Why hasent anyone just updated No Mercy. GIve it an HD upgrade and online, and it will be the best wrestling game ever. Day of rckoning was close but not as good.
