I'm reading the article about it in this month's (next months, whatever) Game Informer.

It looks like it could have some potential.  Anyone else heard about this game?  Anyone excited?

Yeah the videos from Tokoyo Game Show looked awesome. It was kinda of GOW meets NG. Graphics look better than NG series already and it was 60% finished at the time of TGS. NG is the best Hack n slash series so it will haver it's work cut out, but from what Ive seen it's definately looking Epic. The bosses make GOW 2's look tame. Definatley looking forward to this game.

360 has done well with the genre. (Well it would with NG series) N9 for instance although not strictly just a hack n slash was far better than any DW game. And if NB stays on course it could knock NG2 off as the best Hacker.

Very promising.

It definitelly lacks the polish of DMC4, but there's still time for drastic improvement. It also seems to run at 30 fps which is unacceptable for this genre nowadays. As far as gameplay i can't comment as there's little known at this point. I'm hoping for some kind of deep free form combat.

^ DMC4 I finished and traded for NG2. After playing NG2 DMC4 went horribly down in my opinion of the series. NB looks faster and already has far more impressive graphics. DMC4 8/10 before playing NG2. After playing NG2 I almost forgot it existed.

Am still playing Ninja Gaiden 2, I hope this game is good but if it wants to compete in gameplay it better step up, cause NG is just crazy and brutal. Ill keep my eye on this game see how it builds up...

I'm not too fond of the graphics, the characters remind me too much of Enchanted Arms.. >.

The only real HacknSlash games i like are Ninety Nine nights,But this one looks good....

BTW 999 > All DW games put together!

I'm looking out for it, and hope that it's good, but I'm keeping my expectations low.

Hate to be a downer, but it's made by From Software, the makers of Enchanted Arms and Armored Core. They're also working on Demon's Souls for the ps3. Demon's Souls was playable at TGS, and was heavily criticized for it's horrible framerate inconsistent level design, and general genericness.

As it stands, Ninja Blade looks like a Ninja Gaiden clone, made by a far FAR worse developer than Team Ninja.

How can you guys forget about Otogi? Didn't From Software make that to?

Why yes, they did.

One of the best games on XBox anyways.

Genre: Action Adventure > Fantasy

Developer: From Software

ESRB Rating: T

It's just that simple.
