So Nintendogs broke the 20M barrier!

Mario Kart did even better than I expected, I would have guessed it to be at 8.5-9M based on Vgchartz numbers. It might actually be able to overtake Mario Kart DS in 2008, which I think nobody thought was possible before its release.

Mario Galaxy didn't do too well though. Its absence means it shipped less than 1M in the first 6 months, so it's highest possible shipment number at the end of September is 7.09M.

I'm also pretty surprised about the success of Links crossbow trainer. Does anybody have an idea why it did so well when it only got to 1.7M in last fiscal year?

Wasn't link's crossbow training only just released in Japan like the middle of this year? I think that may be why..

They only shipped 250k of the title to Japan, so that can't be the reason.

Pokemon Platinum appears to be overtracked.

It is about 50k below shipment numbers on September 27 and VGchartz numbers now are completely in line with Media Create, Famitsu and Dengeki.

Seems NSMB outshipped SMB3...

Mario Kart Wii and Wii Play are undertracked.

Obviously only releasing data for titles that shipped 1 million or more during the given time which is why Link's Crossbow Training seems to have a random appearance. Too bad Ninty doesn't give software shipments for all of them despite what they do in the given time, but if they did that it could make something look bad. But still MK Wii and Wii Fit having that much shipped in that time is just amazing.

MK outshipped Wii Sports? o_o
