I would say you have to be an idiot to have such a strong negative emotion about a collection of silicon and plastic as to say you "Hate" a console.

I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. You have two thumbs up and three feline paws for the Wii (me, my wife, and our three girls Maggie, Jessie, and Libbie). Miyamato has always catered to his fans, and regardless of hardware sales, Miyamato games are usually worth the purchase of a Nintendo console.

I love the wii cause:

1. It gives me another alternative in how I interact with games (IR pointing, manipulation of a controller to simulate manipulation of 3d objects on screen; see Zak and Wiki)

2. New ways to play video games (gameplay for all consoles hasn't really changed for 2-3 generations.

3. I got tired of Etch-a-Sketch controls and 80 buttons during Gamecube. I never finished RE4 on Cube but couldnt not finish it on Wii.

4. Variety of Genres:Puzzle, Survival Horror, Casual, etc.

5. Variety of rendering styles: Realism and non-real

6:Nintendo Games!!!!

Other than that the Wii sucks.
