Forums - Gaming Discussion - Now how do you feel about IGN 6.0?

I preferred the other one. It was quicker, more effective and cleaner, imo. It's hard to navigate in the new one. -_-' It's actually a pain!

Hmm...
I just dont understand how you guy can find it harder to navigate. I find it simple and my PC being especially a piece of shit and using FF which does not work well with IGN it still manages to browse around without too much trouble.

The old one was better.

The old one was definitely better. Not as flashy, but way more practical and efficient.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I find the new one confusing and cluttered, dont go there anymore.

Note - Just in case some of you still havent found out. Theres a "Games" tab that drops the list of channels. So you dont have to scroll all the way to the bottom. =P

Thanks for that tip. I did think it was rather counter intuitive to shift this feature to the bottom of the page. I got sick of scrolling down every time to switch channels.

You imply that this confusion is encountered by many users, and quite frankly, it doesn't surprise me one bit. I mean, 'games'? When I think of games, I think of Halo 3, GTA4 or SMG. The Wii, Xbox360 and PS3 are not games, thay are consoles right?

I like it better, except for one thing, I like to read "Reader's Review of the Day", and I can't find where this section is now =(

It looks pretty cool but it comes at the expense of performance.

Looks like people hate it:

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

I just dont like how long it takes to load the white background on the second half of an article.
