I still don't understand why some want to post their picture on an internet forum filled with guys. That's not good attention, that's creepy attention. Or at least... that's what I think.

meh I've posted pictures of myself before. What a mistake. Creepy messages about whether I was "shaved", extremely detailed forum posts about masturbating to my picture, negative comments that were equally not appreciated. They sort of treat it like we post our pictures to be judged on whether we are masturbation worthy, not because we want them to know our face. That is a little sad.

But this is why that makes all the difference in the world whether you post a pic or not, men are extremely into visuals even if some may deny it.

Yeah, on another forum I visit a girl posted a picture of herself and there ended up being a quote train that was a combination of 'You're pretty' and 'You guys are creepy'.

The scary thing was she must have only been about thirteen. So yeah, that was creepy.

I always thought VGchartz had a relatively high ratio of active female members compared to other internet sites, especially when it comes to video game sites. There are at least 3 or 4 that I can think of off the top of my head that are girls which I can tell simply by the non attention whorish quality of their posts.

I can guarantee you that if I had an avatar (which I don't) and it was of a scantily clad woman I'd get thousands of extra hits on my profile page. And that is one of the major reasons females don't hang around gaming forums much.
