I just got a survey dropped into my inbox from Bandai-Namco, with the entire question set based on Klonoa. Based on the information in the survey, and the pictures included, it looks like Bandai-Namco is planning to bring Klonoa: Door to Phantomile to the states.

Also, the survey asks which of the designs you like better. My guess is, Bandai-Namco is thinking the one on the left will appeal more to North America. I like the one on the right…

 

OH GOD PLEASE dont change ANYTHING! >.< I still like the original one

I can't see anything wrong with the new design, but then again why change it? that's pretty odd...


He looks like a character from the Sonic series .... (in a bad way i might add)

I think they needed a redesign after all.

And yeah, Klonoa was a original creation as you can see in the video, he is not a rip off of Sonic. The redesign is a copy

No no I didn't say I like it O.o, I said the new design looks too much like a Sonic character than the original.

I am not familiar with the series but the Original design(the one used in the very fist game, with the yellow eyes) isn't appealing to me, his eyes are too spooky D8.

Why they need to change it anyways? The one on the right(which is the official one i presume) is more unique anyways.

OH SORRY I thought you're posting Klonoa in general.

Actually, the right side was also a redesign, I just seen the video of Klonoa PS1 on youtube and yeah, you're right his eyes are spooky seem he is potraying the cat like figure.

Anyway, we cant change Namco bandai's decision though, I just suggest we must choose the one in  the right. If only I knew the website survey was... :(

I pretty sure they won't leave original design ,but maybe they just want Klonoa to be more customizable?or new Klonoa to unlock?

Its in email by Namco Bandai themselves they want a redesign. Atleast its planned to released in America just email Namco that you want the right Klonoa than the left
