I think they needed a redesign after all.

And yeah, Klonoa was a original creation as you can see in the video, he is not a rip off of Sonic. The redesign is a copy

 

No no I didn't say I like it O.o, I said the new design looks too much like a Sonic character than the original.

I am not familiar with the series but the Original design(the one used in the very fist game, with the yellow eyes) isn't appealing to me, his eyes are too spooky D8.

Why they need to change it anyways? The one on the right(which is the official one i presume) is more unique anyways.

OH SORRY I thought you're posting Klonoa in general.

Actually, the right side was also a redesign, I just seen the video of Klonoa PS1 on youtube and yeah, you're right his eyes are spooky seem he is potraying the cat like figure.

Anyway, we cant change Namco bandai's decision though, I just suggest we must choose the one in  the right. If only I knew the website survey was... :(
