So people who buy a console from Sony this generation are called "brand loyal"... but I guess we can coin that term for MS too now...
I already sold my 360 and 22 games at the end of April 2007. I owned it for approx. 9 1/2 months. Considering I sold it in disgust I doubt I will ever own an MS console again.

I'll definitely buy it, but I'll likely wait a couple of weeks/months to make sure there are no debilitating hardware problems. I highly doubt they'll allow it next time, as a second strike would knock them right out of the games industry.
I'll wait for a while to make sure an RROD like thing doesn't happen again.

The hardware of the 360 has left a very bad taste in my mouth and for that reason I will wait a few years after the next XBOX console releases before I purchase it. I have to admit though I will always be Sony first, have had too great a time with the PS1 and PS2. It actually worked great for me that I got the launch PS3 as it is the best version of the console released. It will always be Sony and Nintendo for my first followed my MS, 360 had the chance to be a great console but MS blew it to save themselves a few pennies and with that created the most faulty hardware I have ever seen.

There's nothing wrong with what he said. Microsoft made a terrible oversight this generation, with one of the highest product failure rates in history. He has every right to be more reserved about a purchase next generation.
I always have and will make my decision upon the games a system has. If Nintendo has more games I want to play I buy it... If Microsoft Does I buy it... If Sony does... I wait and then I buy it... (Sony will most likely be the most expensive next gen system)
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.
Yes.
And if this forward compatibility thing is true then it's a double yes.
