To be honest I never even heard of this game until I read the latest Game Informer. At first glance it appears to be just another shooter but it's actually an action/adventure game similar to Castlevania, Metroid, and Zelda: Twilight Princess. For example there are what's called "gear items" to be found that can be used to open new sections of the game, one is a hookshot tool that allows the player to grapple to certain areas and is very similar to the clawshot in Twilight Princess. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting and the combat system can be compared to God of War or Devil May Cry. The artistic design of the game is stunning to say the least. It's due out in Fall 2008 for 360 and PS3.
