What everyone here is trying to say is that those 164K sales posted here on VGC are actually before the game was even released to the public.  Sony recalled it, and delayed the game by 2 weeks -- those 164K copies weren't ever meant to see the light of day.  We have yet to see the first week of LBP's public release here on VGChartz.

 

Yeah, too bad there are people that insult other just because they say something about sales that VGChartz has put up. When is LittleBigPlanet going to be officially released??

 

wow^. too bad somebody can't admit they are wrong because they are on the internet and believe anything they read that vgchartz has put up.

I believe the official release date was yesterday... or sunday that just passed.

It cannot be denied that, LBP is exceeding everyone's sales expectations so far. 160K last week, when everyone, including Sony, was expecting zero sales. Very impressive.

LBP is a great game and will deservedly sell well.  It will not have as good a first week as it could have because of the messed up launch.  However, no credence can be given to anecdotal evidence based on what someone's friend is supposed to have said or what someone read 'somewhere' and doesn't provide a link to.
