It's the only shooter on Wii, so there ya go!

For X360/PS3... It could very well be. Remember, Treyarch built CoD3 in 8 months! Gotta say that ain't bad. Although it was underwhelming in comparison with the rest of the series.

This time! They started with an already complete engine that they finetuned and had 2 years of dev-time. I think you create a lot of awesomeness in that timeframe! We'll see who's the better one but I think that CoD5 is atleast up there with GoW2 and R2. Competing for Shooter of the year. Although all 3 games will be AAA, and it depends on your taste whichever you like most!

Left 4 Dead >>>>>>>>>> Gears 2 >> Resistance. All three are top-tier titles, which, going from experience, CoD5 will not be.
