Its really not comparable.  People scoff when I say this, but as a beta tester .... Home is Second Life.  The new Xbox experience is just avatars, Netflix, and a UI redesign.

Home is a social network for gamers.

Well, I thought I could just buy Qore Episode 6. And little be hold Sony sent a email just a couple of minutes ago stating that the Home Beta was only for those that was subscribers to Qore, its not for users that just bought Qore Episode 6.

Bummer, but oh well. I still look forward to this. I just wish there was a official Playstation Home thread. Where some of the members that are in the beta can give us PS3 users some insight on the beta.

I'm not a subscriber, I just found out today that you could sign up for Qore and get in the Home beta.
After reading the email, I got from them. Now I can't.

NXE is just more functionality added to Live's APIs and a redesigned UI.

Home is a 3D social networking effort. Aka Second Life.

They are not comparable.

Shoot, I wish I knew you a couple of weeks ago. We both could of been exploring the beta together! It's cool, though you do have a lot of games, I see your playing Okami and LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2 Beta. How are all of those?

I was thinking of getting Okami, it might look like something I would play, I just don't want to get the game because everyone bought it. Is it an alright game? Should I get it on the PS2 or Wii?

Of course they are completely different. No one should compare them in the first place. They are targeting two different user groups.
